International Sales
Hotstart, Inc. has an opening for a position of International Sales, Latin America, based in our corporate headquarters in Spokane, WA. The ideal candidate will work with other sales staff and other departments, including outside offices, to coordinate sales efforts to achieve the goals of the company and market(s) strategic plan. Supporting other international sales teams is also part of the job responsibility. This position requires a high level of communication skills and self-driven mindset. Domestic and international customer visits may be required depending on projects, market demand, or job training. This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of sales to customers in assigned market(s) abroad.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and strategy development for customers in the LATAM region.
- Report monthly sales and strategy updates as well as quarterly forecast updates to the International Business Manager.
- Develop relationships with local key distributors in Latin countries.
- Handle field issues and customer complaints while cooperating with Engineering/QA/Production/Logistics.
- Share market demands and customers’ needs with Hotstart’s teams. Work closely with other colleagues to provide the best possible service to customers.
- Support any International Business Development tasks and projects.
- Own the yearly team goals and be responsible for its accomplishment.
- Communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers.
- Live Hotstart’s values and be a role model in the office.
Qualifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales or a related subject or equivalent industry experience.
- Valid driver's license. Maintain travel passport with a 6-months validation at a minimum.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.). ERP experience such as IFS, SAP, Infor is beneficial.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; calculates figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, circumference, and volume. Collects and researches data.
- Treats all people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works with integrity; upholds organizational values; maintains the confidentiality of all client/co-worker/organizational business.
- Strong listening and presentation skills; ability to speak effectively in public; strong negotiation skills; clear and concise writing capabilities and the ability to relate to others from all backgrounds. Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.
