HOTSTART Offers New Oil Heating Systems

Spokane, Wash. –  HOTSTART, an international engine heating technology company, recently added new oil heater systems to its large capacity heater offerings. The oil heaters are designed to heat vital engine fluids allowing for clean, full power startups in marine, stationary power, mining and large equipment applications.  Keeping vital fluids heated while the engine is in standby eliminates cold starts, prevents engine wear and reduces harmful emissions.

HOTSTART’s large capacity oil heaters heat and circulate lube oil throughout the engine. Forced circulation of the oil delivers uniform heating to the oil reservoir, internal engine components and external circuit piping, decreasing engine wear and tear. Each system is designed for specific heat output based on the customer’s requirements. The new oil heaters can be specified with various voltage configurations and up to 48 kW heat output.

The complete, packaged heating systems feature a pump/motor assembly including all required controls and PT-100 temperature sensors which offer excellent accuracy over a wide temperature range. Control box components are more accessible than HOTSTART’s prior oil heating systems, providing plenty of space to easily change out parts. The re-designed configuration of the heating unit allows greater ease of installation and includes integrated lifting eyes to make positioning of the unit safer.
