HOTSTART Promotes Mitsuomi Nakamura to Managing Director for Europe and Asia Pacific

Spokane, Wash. – HOTSTART is pleased to announce the promotion of Mitsuomi Nakamura to Managing Director – Europe and Asia Pacific. He will be responsible for the direction of HOTSTART’s regional sales offices, HOTSTART GmbH based in Siegburg, Germany and HOTSTART Asia Pacific Ltd. based in Tokyo, Japan. 

Mr. Nakamura has been with HOTSTART since 2004 starting in the customer service department following a college internship. During the past 13 years, Mr. Nakamura has held the roles of Customer Service Representative supporting international customers, Market Manager of Asia-Pacific and Managing Director of HOTSTART Asia Pacific, Ltd. After working in the Asia-Pacific region and recognizing the need for a local presence to be closer to the customer, Mr. Nakamura proposed opening a sales office in Tokyo, Japan. HOTSTART Asia Pacific Ltd. opened November 1, 2011.

Mr. Nakamura will be based out of the HOTSTART GmbH office starting in January 2017 and plans to travel between Germany and Japan to work with both teams on strategic growth plans for key diesel engine heating markets including backup generator sets, marine and heavy duty machinery.
