HOTSTART Exhibiting at Advanced Clean Transportation Expo 2019
Spokane, Wash. - HOTSTART will be exhibiting at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo (ACT) April 24-25, 2019 in Long Beach, CA. Visit HOTSTART at booth #1814 and talk with our battery thermal management experts on how HOTSTART circulating liquid cooling & heating solutions boost electric vehicle readiness while maximizing battery longevity over the lifespan of the vehicle.
Electrified heavy duty and commercial vehicles are the zero emission transportation answer for fleets looking to reduce dependency on conventional fuels. As charging infrastructure is built out and total cost of ownership reaches parity with existing engine designs, battery powered electric fleets will become commonplace on the roads. HOTSTART battery thermal management systems are designed to optimize the performance of battery packs and modules that power heavy duty and commercial electric vehicles.
HOTSTART's Electric Vehicle Thermal Management System uses passive and active cooling, allowing the system to adapt to rapidly changing conditions as needed. For heating, the system incorporates the existing CTM heater, providing critical heat in cold conditions through standard 120 volt or 240 volt shore power. The overall design minimizes power consumption while maintaining superior cooling performance.
For over 75 years, HOTSTART has worked with major OEMs to provide high quality, circulating systems that solve heat transfer issues and optimize overall equipment performance. Our expertise makes us the ideal partner to provide custom-designed and manufactured battery thermal management systems.
ACT Expo is the world’s largest and most comprehensive event of its kind dedicated to displaying ALL alternative fuels, advanced clean vehicles & technology providing strong educational value and positive results for fleet professionals and industry stakeholders looking to make investments in these alternative opportunities.
