HOTSTART Exhibiting at Solar Power International 2019

Aug 7, 2019

Spokane, Wash. - HOTSTART will be exhibiting at Solar Power International  September 23 - 26, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Visit HOTSTART at booth #3222 and talk with our battery thermal management experts on how HOTSTART circulating liquid cooling & heating solutions maximize battery performance in energy storage systems.

Energy storage systems need batteries to stay cool while delivering clean, stable energy to end users. Maintaining batteries in their optimal temperature range to reduce the risk of thermal runaway is a challenge OEMs currently face. HOTSTART battery thermal management solutions are designed to optimize battery performance by cooling or heating the cells and their environment as needed, making ESS installations safer for end users.

HOTSTART's Thermal Management System design fits into a standard rack mount, circulating liquid to provide direct cooling and heating to each battery module.  When fully integrated into an ESS, the system goes beyond basic monitoring and warning, responding to temperature requirements during both charge and discharge cycles. The TMS design will be on display in booth #3222 throughout the show.

For over 75 years, HOTSTART has worked with major OEMs to provide high quality, circulating systems that solve heat transfer issues and optimize overall equipment performance. Our expertise makes us the ideal partner to provide custom-designed and manufactured battery thermal management systems.

Anchored by the flagship event, Solar Power International, North America Smart Energy Week brings together an extensive alliance of renewable energy leaders for four days of networking, education, and innovation that moves the industry forward. The event has diversified to include Energy Storage International (ESI)—the largest storage event in North America, the Smart Energy Marketplace+Microgrid , Hydrogen+Fuel Cells International, and The Technical Symposium.
