Hotstart COVID-19 Update

Mar 25, 2020

Spokane, Wash. - As the COVID-19 situation continues to impact the world, Hotstart is working to prioritize the safety and health of our employees, their families and our communities while also continuing to deliver essential products to our customers. On March 23rd, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee announced a new “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order to close businesses except those described under “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers”. Hotstart falls under “Critical Manufacturing” since we manufacture products for critical sectors like Health Care, Communications, Information Technology, Energy and Transportation. We will remain open to maintain our business operations and will continue the sanitation and social distancing measures we have implemented internally.

For our customers:

We have put measures in place to continue to manufacture and deliver systems as needed while protecting our employees. When possible, our people are working remotely to reduce possible spread of the virus. This work-from-home option is available at our offices located in:

  • Spokane, Washington
  • Houston, Texas
  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Birmingham, United Kingdom
  • Köln, Germany
  • Tokyo, Japan

Those employees working in our manufacturing facility in Spokane, WA are being supported with increased sanitation and social distancing practices per recommended guidelines. Any delays to your orders will be communicated as soon as we are made aware of constraints. Our Customer Service, OEM coordinators, and Sales teams are available Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM PST by email at sales@hotstart.com or by phone 509-536-8660 if you have any questions.

For our suppliers:

We rely on our suppliers to support us in delivering our essential products. In order to maintain the continuity of our supply chain, we expect any disruptions suppliers experience be communicated to your respective Hotstart contact as soon as possible so that adjustments to production can be made.

We are constantly reviewing our plans to fight COVID-19 and will communicate as needed any changes to our operations.
