Spokane, WA - Hotstart’s newly UL listed EVRHEAT Series 20 Engine Heater will be on display during the 2022 PowerGen International Exhibition this May 23 – 25 in Dallas, TX. The EVR20 is designed to preheat and maintain engine temperature in generators up to 20 liters in size while in standby mode. Visit booth #4238 at the event to see the unit in operation.

Designed with efficiency, versatility, and reliability in mind, the EVR20 is an advanced engine heating solution for power generation applications. Integrated solid-state controls respond to fluid temperature changes as little as 1° F for quick temperature response of the heater. Improved coolant temperature uniformity with the EVR20 results in fewer low temp nuisance alarms for operators. The operator interface clearly lights, providing status updates of the heater at a glance. The debris-resistant forced circulation pump provides a more efficient heating solution than standard thermosiphon heaters, with up to 45% savings in energy usage and costs. Installation is simplified with a swivel inlet hose barb available in standard 5/8” or optional 3/4" sizes, making the EVR20 a versatile drop-in replacement heater for field upgrades.

“Reliability and safety are at the heart of the EVR20’s design,” said Jim Vroman, Market Manager for power generation. “The UL mark on this heater signals to OEM’s and aftermarket users that this design has met rigorous standards, making it suitable for use on their generators and genset packages. No other heater on the market has this combination of technology and quality – making it another dependable thermal management solution customers have come to expect from Hotstart.”
