Hotstart Broadens Localized Manufacturing in Germany
Spokane, Wash. July 15, 2024 – Hotstart Europe GmbH (HEG), a subsidiary of Hotstart, is releasing additional HOTflow CSM Euro Engine Heater configurations and will begin delivery of these units from Köln, Germany to customers in Europe and the United Kingdom starting in September 2024. CSM Euro heater production began in Köln, Germany in 2021 from the company’s first international manufacturing location which opened in 2018. Hotstart is headquartered in Spokane, Washington, USA.
CSM Euro Engine Heaters will now be available in 3, 6, 9, and 12 kW configurations for 400V-50 Hz power connections. Units will be stocked and sold in Euro currency, allowing for shorter lead times for customers in the region. “The expected product demand is high, and we would like to support this growing market by providing timely customer care through local production and engineering services,” said Mitsuomi Nakamura, International Business Manager. “Our important UK/European customers can expect shorter lead times, localized product design, and economical offers. Having production and warehousing of stock located in the center of the Europe means we can deliver our products within a few days through reliable logistic channels.”
With the Köln facility operating to the same ISO 9001:2015 standards as the Spokane, WA facility, “our key clients and OEMs can rely on our worldwide aftersales service and trusted product quality developed by Hotstart since 1942,” said Nakamura. “UK/European customers will continue to receive the highest quality products and service they have come to expect from Hotstart.”
